It’s A Wonderful Life:

A Live Radio Play

This production was the final presentation of my students’ semester long study of voice-over and radio drama techniques.  With normally five characters, the script adaptation of Frank Capra’s holiday classic was expanded to eleven to provide ample opportunity for all students to participate in the project.  This allowed me to not only develop the starring central characters of the play, but the colorful characters that run the radio studio itself.  Functioning as a play within a play, the staging became one of the central topics of my graduate thesis: The Visual Staging of Audio Plays.
